What’s New at SharinPix? Q1 2025 Edition!

Since our last update in October of last year, the SharinPix team has been hard at work building new features (and completely new offers) and improving some older ones along the way. This time, we’re happy to announce the arrival of the SharinPix Forms App and the whole load of features that come with it. We’ll also dive into how SharinPix has entered the Agentforce sphere and what you can expect in the next few months.

Forms App by SharinPix

If you arrive at this article from our newsletter, you have already heard the news - SharinPix has launched a new app on the Salesforce AppExchange: Forms App by SharinPix. After gathering valuable feedback from our customers, we have added some new types of capabilities that are the natural companion to our already powerful data-collection tools powered by photos and video.

Learn more about SharinPix Forms by reading this dedicated article or visiting the new listing on the AppExchange:

Magic Fill - Fill in Salesforce Fields by Snapping a Photo

If you’ve been looking out for our communications, you might have already heard about our brand-new feature called Magic Fill. Used in either SharinPix Forms or in a flow, Magic Fill allows you to fill in Salesforce fields by either snapping a live photo with the system camera of your mobile device or uploading a photo to be analyzed.

We already wrote a blog article dedicated to Magic Fill, but we’re happy to share a fresh demo video with you here:

Document Builder Components (Image Gallery and Filters)

We’ve taken a step further in our integration with Salesforce Document Builder, the solution that helps you build formatted service documents, by incorporating our SharinPix Image Gallery feature with all filter functionalities. Now you can add rich visual elements to your documents from your records containing SharinPix image albums.

During the document-building step, you can even filter by tag to select which images you’d like to display in the final document. Here is an example of the images displayed on a final document:

SharinPix Album Filter by Tag

We prioritize our new developments based on customer needs, and this one was in heavy demand. You can now filter your SharinPix albums by image tags, allowing you to fully customize your organizational visual experience within your records.

The SharinPix Tag Filter feature allows the admin to set rules on which photos are viewable to specific users, such as images of a certain step in an installation process or of a certain portion of a project (living room, bathroom, etc.). Check out the SharinPix Documentation to learn more:

SharinPix PDF Viewer

We have extended our PDF viewing capabilities to include the option to view the original uncompressed version of a PDF file. This means that now you can have the choice between viewing either 1) an automatically optimized version of the PDF for the highest performance or 2) the original version without any file compression. The best part is that this quality option also applies to viewing images, and you can freely toggle between the options within the SharinPix viewer.

SharinPix and Agentforce

If you’re scrolling on the AppExchange, you might discover that SharinPix has actually launched a second new listing already during Q1 2025. This one, called Search and Display SharinPix Photos, is an Agentforce companion, that allows you to simply “Ask an Agent” to help you find certain photos based on context and metadata in Salesforce.

This is a brand-new offering that will continue to be improved over the coming months, so look out for further communication from us on the subject. In the meantime, feel free to check out the listing:
